The DGS-1026X also features D-Link Green Technology, which helps save energy automatically. The switch monitors the link status of each port and significantly reduces power consumption of the port when there is no link or network activity detected. It also detects the cable length in use, and dynamically adjusts the power output of the switch port, reducing the power required to only what is necessary for the installation.

The DGS-1026X is plug-and-play, and requires no configuration to set up and use. Support for auto MDI/MDIX removes the need for crossover cables, so expanding your existing network is easy and straightforward.
